I really like the Talking desktop clock. You have to make sure at installation that, if you want all the features, you choose the custom installation and check all the things you want. It will download some more things at that point. It is just a little bit confusing to set up (at least, it was for me) but the options are a lot of fun, and the clock works great. I set up hourly chimes and let the bird come tell me the hour when it's almost time to get off work. :) The reason I wanted the desktop clock in the first place was so that I could see the time and date at a glance rather than constantly messing with the itty-bitty clock in my start-bar. It is perfect for that. I give it 4 stars for "features" because it would be nice to have some sort of alarm function, but no big deal. All in all, it is a very nice little program with lots of fun options, and I would recommend it to others. (Most of my family has since downloaded it to their computers, too!) showShow review details
