throttle your startup programs Those of you that have a dozen system tray programs will like this little tool - it will manage the execution of programs that are automatically started by the operating system at logon time. Rather than starting everything at once, StartRight will set a delay between each program launch, allowing Windows to load faster and more efficient. The program will automatically configure all startup programs, so if you are a novice user, there is nothing for you to configure. Advanced users can optionally edit the startup order or exclude certain programs from the delayed start. StartRight supports your common startup folder entries as well as registry Run key items. All original settings can be restored to their previous state by clicking the restore button. Copyright Snapfiles.com

It's a good freeware 5 stars by bjkelaiya136 Jan 18, 2012
Its an excellent freeware. We need to sequence the order of startup as we all use a lot of big and small programs. It puts things in order. I tried it on Win XP. As precaution , one must follow the correct installation procedure especially placing the program in C:Program Files and running it as it initially imports moves all entries/settings from the windows startup folder to its own folder . Also before removal, one must restore the registry for those applications that could not be exported to the windows startup. The programs is simple and explains this caution when setting up Startright for the first time. It is safe and simple AND FREE. The downside is the author says on his website -- It is not in developmental stage and it is not compatible with Vista or higher as it cannot get a grip on the registry keys in Vista or higher to setup. One has to however delete the registry key of Startright in Win XP by using another Startup Manager program or whichever he may find as freeware. I wish it was developed for Vista , 7 and more and still be a freeware. showShow review details
Think restore point with startright! 2 stars by farpointstation2 Oct 31, 2007 (Read all my 7 reviews)
WARNING! Do not run StartRight on any OS/machine that can not create a Restore Point! StartRight performs as advertised, BUT should you want to reverse the effects of StartRight on your boot-up/start-up process, that's where the spanner hits the gears! I was of the opinion that StartRight actually lengthened my start-up time, but the longer start-up (about 45 seconds) was smoother and less chaotic than a normal Windows start. I have about 15 apps starting under XP Pro. When I attempted to restore the start-up sequence to normal, it was light out! About half of my start-up entries had disappeared from the start-up folders! Fortunately, I make it a habit to create a Restore Point at boot-up at the start of the day. Reverting to the boot-up Restore Point saved my blood pressure from spiking! RightStart is OK to run, just be sure you have a Restore Point as back-up! showShow review details
