Bring back the start menu to Windows 8 Start8 brings back the traditional Start Menu and Start button that have been omitted from Windows 8. You can choose between a Windows 7 style start menu, which is identical to what you used in Windows 7, or a Windows 8 style menu, which is basically a smaller version of the new Windows 8 menu. The Start 8 menu comes includes all the features of the Windows 7 Start Menu, (search for apps, pin apps and restart/shutdown button etc.) as well as access to your Metro apps. If you want to access the new tiled desktop, simply Ctrl-click on the Start8 button. In addition, Start8 can boot you directly to your traditional Windows desktop, skipping the "Metro/Modern UI" altogether. Other features include options to disable the Windows 8 hot corners and charms bar, configurable Start Menu size, skinnable Start button, and more. Copyright Snapfiles.com
