Spy-Ad Exterminator scans your computer`s memory, hard drives and registry for traces of spyware, adware and other malware products. If it finds any items, it displays them in a list and allows you to delete, quarantine or ignore each one. The scanning is fast but missed a good portion of the installed adware during our review. The results also included several false positives, and unfortunately the program does not provide any information whatsoever in regards to the items it claims to be malware. The current version is not reliable enough to depend on, but (hopefully) this may improve with future updates.
