HTML source code encryption SourceShield is a website encryption tool, that enables you to prevent casual stealing of your source code and images. It uses JavaScript to encrypt your source, so that it is unusable to the human eye, but will work fine with any browser that supports JavaScript. You can choose to protect the entire page or only portions of it, and also disable right-clicking, page printing, text selection and several other user actions. Furthermore, you can check for a valid referrer and restrict the pages to certain browsers (Opera, IE, Netscape). The program creates backups of your original files, so you can restore them later if needed. As with any source encryption software, the protection only prevents casual attempts, and can be bypassed by a determined user.
Trial Limitations: 30 day trial. Some features disabled.
