Smart Type Assistant adds MS Word style auto-correction and auto-replace to any application. It can be used in Internet Explorer when filling forms or ICQ when sending Instant Messages and so on. The auto-replace features allows you to convert abbreviations like BTW into "By the way" automatically. It can also be used to setup small macro commands, to fill in your full name, address or similar. In addition, the auto-correct options can replace frequently mistyped words on the fly. If you find yourself hitting the Caps Lock key once in a while, and end up with a line of all capitalized text, you will like the Caps Lock correction option which will correct accidental usage of the Caps Lock and can also quickly convert any selected text into upper or lower case.
