The Sleuthhound! Desktop Search is a personal document search system for your hard drive. It allows you to create search zones, enter keywords and have the results instantly displayed. A search zone can combine certain file types in different folders and then be searched instantly due to the fact that the program creates an index of the files. Zone indexes can be updated with the built in scheduler or manually. Documents are listed browser style and the keyword highlighted and displayed. Keyword context can be ascertained via display in internal browser. The browser can show further instances of keywords by expanding the initial display. Default searches for offer doc, txt and html docs. A Pro version is available that offers support for additional extensions.
