system information tool SIW is a system information tool that gathers extensive information about your system properties, hardware and settings. It includes detailed specs for CPU, Network, TCP/IP, Memory, Hardware, Users, Network Shares and more, as well as real-time monitors for CPU, Memory and network traffic. SIW also displays currently active network connections, installed codecs, connected MS SQL and Oracle database servers (if any) and more. Other features include a report generator (HTML, CSV, TXT and XML), a MAC address changer, remote computer info and more.

This is a must have program. It tells you everything about a computer. The only thing I wish is that it had options to *edit* settings and info instead of just to view them. Also, there is an annoying splash screen and a slight delay while the program loads, but it isn't too slow. Finally, it is PORTABLE so you can keep it on your USB key! This program is kind of old-hat. There are other free programs out there that do just as much and a lot more. The paid versions are really high-priced for what little additions they add. A waste of money. showShow review details

I was using this a while back and then tried Belarc and others but keep coming back to SIW. Even though one of the best, I still use multiple system info apps but this has been one of the best and can't be beat for the price. SIW is the one I use the most. showShow review details
