secure disk encryption Secure Disk enables you to encrypt the content of local or removable USB/Flash disks. It uses 256-bit AES encryption at the physical sector level to protect your data from unauthorized access. The program works at the operating system level and constantly encrypts/decrypts your data as it is accessed, so even if the drive is removed, your data remains encrypted an inaccessible without the proper passwords. While working on the computer where Secure Disk is installed, you can access the encrypted drive(s) and files just as you would on any other drive, as long as you are logged in from the Secure Disk control panel.

Crashed my computer 1 stars by johnsaber
I went through the instructions to install secure disk on my computer. I got a message saying that I would have to reboot my computer. When I tried the reboot my computer went to a black screen and would not restart (not even in safe mode). This is after I disabled all of my spyware/virus programs to prevent any kind of interference. I had to reinstall Windows to get my computer to run again. I e-mailed secure disk tech support and they were no help. They replied to my initial e-mail by asking for information about my computer then never responded after I gave them the information. It's too bad I couldn't get secure disk to work. I like the idea of total disk encryption and this is a reasonably priced program. Unfortunately, it just did not work for me. showShow review details
