password protect data on your USB drive Rohos Mini Drive enables you to create a secure, virtual partition on any USB drive, allowing you to have a portion of your drive password protected. You can define a custom size for the partition and use it to securely store sensitive documents, while leaving the rest of the drive for non-sensitive files. Once unlocked you can access and use the secure volume just like any other drive and manage your files with Windows Explorer. When the drive is disconnected, the secure partition is hidden in a password protected executable and remains inaccessible until it is unlocked by you. The secure volume can be unlocked from any computer it does not require Administrative Privileges or Rohos Mini Drive to be installed.Encryption is automatic and on-the-fly. AES 256 bit key length. Using NIST compliant encryption standards. Rohos Mini Drive can create partitions up to 2 gigabyte in size, if you require larger volumes, a full version is available for purchase. Not to be redundant but there are definitely better programs out there that do more. I was disappointed at the actual options and the fact it doesn't always detect my drives, saying no Rohos drive detected, but if this is all someone wants to accomplish like the encryption, etc... then this will get the job done. It's free,some "OK" options but I wouldn't go too much further than that. showShow review details

Rohos Mini Drive does what it says on the tin, but seems to be acting as a demo for the paid version. There are free programs that will create mountable encrypted drives with no size limit and a better range of features. showShow review details
