file and folder renaming tool RenPhoric is a file and directory renaming tool for advanced users. It allows you to perform search and replace operations on a directory listing in a similar manner as you would in a text file. You can use simple character matching or regular expressions to change folder paths and file names, add a prefix or suffix, change spelling mistakes and more. The program allows you to instantly preview any matches and changes and also allows you to undo an operation after is has been applied. RenPhoric can come handy for users that are familiar with Regular Expression and need to apply specific changes to large numbers of files or folders. However, there are more user friendly tools available for most other reaming tasks. Copyright

Cannot detect multiple lines of text 3 stars by daniel1212 Jun 29, 2011 (Read all my 7 reviews)
Simple to use, but like some others, it cannot detect multiple lines of html ... instead, only the first word shows up. I would recommend it for replacing one word show Review details
Very useful manual rename 5 stars by user777222 Mar 20, 2010 (Read all my 2 reviews)
I used to use "Oscar's Renamer" when needing to adjust many file names manually or partially by hand. It wasn't updated after XP. I'm very glad I found RenPhoric as it is a fantastic replacement for this function I find myself often needing (now on Win7). Renaming a load of files is just easier sometimes in a text file or freehand type UI. Thank you to the author. show Review details
