RDF-Ticker
view RDF/RSS news feeds
RDF-Ticker is a newsticker application which fetches news from any RDF/RSS-feed and displays them on a ticker-bar. These public feeds are based on a special XML-format, which lets client applications show them in any convenient way for the end-user. RDF-Ticker comes with various, categorized feeds to choose from, and you can add your own as well (e.g webattack = http://www.webattack.com/webattack.xml). The program runs as a small ticker bar on top of your desktop (can be hidden too) and clicking on a news item will open the site in your browser. In addition, you can create a custom newspaper page from the current feed. Easy to use, inexpensive and effective.
