eBay search and bid sniping Prospector Lite is an advanced search tool and auction sniper for eBay, that makes it easy to track and find bargains that you are interested in. You can create detailed search queries, using keywords, exclusions, and other filters, even with support fro regular expressions. The searches can be saved and organized into custom categories, so that you can easily refer to them later, using the latest eBay results. Prospector Lite also offers server based sniping services that enable you to place last minute bids, even if your computer is not turned on. The Lite version is limited to 30 searches a day, and 15 snipes a month, which should be plenty for most users. If you need more searches, you can upgrade to the Pro version.

Two things I loved right off the bat... 1. I can do a search by "minimum number of bids". (I've learned over the years that I'm not the only one who knows what the "good stuff" is),and 2. Prospector shows a little icon for auctions that have "reserve not met", so I don't have to waste my time opening these, if I choose. Tho, it's limited to 30 searches and 15 snipes a month, that's plenty for me. Thanks! showShow review details
Difficult interface, sniper is server-based 3 stars by mark129845
My biggest problem with this is: the sniper feature is server based (and, it's a 3rd party sniper service, called "ace sniper"). Although some people may like this, because your computer doesn't have to be on, i'd rather not give out my ebay password to be stored on somebody's insecure server. I want a sniper that resides only on my PC, therefore this software is not for people looking for a software-based sniper. As far as the rest of the software, it's difficult to figure out. Although i only used it for a short time. It may be decent, once you figure it out, but it's not really intuitive. showShow review details
