popSmarts is a smart popup killer for Internet Explorer that blocks all unwanted popup windows without interfering with your normal browsing. It does not require any additional configuration to start working and will start blocking pop-ups immediately. Any blocked window can be easily recovered if needed and opened normally by simply double-clicking on the entry in the log. You can also choose to run the program in a Record Only mode, which will log all pop-up activity but not block them. It also includes a Blacklist/Whitelist and additional Guard features to block scripting. popSmarts is integrated into the Internet Explorer browser and successfully eliminated all pop-up windows during our test. However, we didn t like the fact, that it has to run as a small toolbar along the bottom of the browser window, so it will slightly reduce your browser screen. Evaluation version can close up to 120 pop-up windows.
