PicoZip is an easy to use file compression utility , designed to be easy to use for beginners and advanced users alike. It offers extensive support for various archive formats - you can create archives in 7 different formats (BH, CAB, GZip, JAR, LHA, LZH, TAR, ZIP), extract files from 17 different archive formats (ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TGZ, WAR, MIM, Z, ZIP, ZOO). In addition, you can create self-extracting archives in 8 different formats (ACE, ARJ, BH, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, ZIP) without the need for any third party software. Additional features include password protection, batch operations, integrated email features and the option to convert between archive types. PicoZip also comes with an integrated backup tool, that allows you to select files and/or folders and back them up to a compressed archive. PicoZip also comes with flexible file filtering capabilities and powerful file find feature that allows you to search for files within an archive using wildcards, range of dates, range of file sizes or any combination of those criteria.
