Photo manager with privacy features Helicon Photo Safe is a complete photo management solution that also includes a Photo Safe that you can use to encrypt images and hide them from view. While the actual Photo Safe privacy feature is good, it's really only a small piece of the pie and the rest of the application is much better. The program can scan all your photo folders and store thumbnails and image data in a database, allowing for fast image browsing and lightning fast searches for images by name, EXIF data, date, keywords and other image properties.Helicon Photo Safe also supports image tagging with custom categories, geotagging of photos with a built-in map viewer, personal ratings, side-by-side image viewing, IPTC editing and more. Excellent, replaces the canon zoom browser I currently used and is better. I like the way one can choose the viewing either by date or by folders. The db creation takes some time but is very useful since navigation is then fast. Replaces also flickr uploader since it embedds flickr, picasa and other uploaders !! showShow review details
