disk defragmenter PerfectDisk is a disk defragmenter, designed for thorough defragmentation of even the largest disks. It uses a patented optimization strategy that defragments files in a single pass, and can optimize the drive according to way you use your files. You can choose to defragment drives online or offline and choose to include the paging file and also exclude files or folders. PerfectDisk detailed statistics after the defragmentation has finished and allows you to schedule scans on a daily, weekly or one-time basis. Additional features include free space consolidation, space management reports, selected files defrag, boot time system file defragmentation, and more.

I used PerfectDisk 8 to the final build nearly 2 years and never have any problem to my PC. It make my hard disk working so much better than before I used this software! It fast, smooth, not resource hog (if u have more than 1GB RAM), nice interface, and so easy to use. No other defrag disk software can beat this one in term of price and features. One of the best is boot time pagefile defrag and screensaver disk defrag. The new version of PD 2008 has coming out but I'm not really sure I want to buy it yet, because this version 8 still work perfectly to me. I think I just wait until the latest version's build have no bug at all. If you are PC maniac, buy it and you'll love it! showShow review details

I had a preinstalled copy of Diskkeeper but it just would not perform and I wanted the ability to defrag my system files completely. Perfect disk did this without any problems and it has the best and easiest GUI. The scheduling process is very easy also.... Off line defrag of system files rocks.
