PEN is an email notification tool, that runs in your system tray and periodically checks for new email. When new messages have arrived, it will notify you with a small popup window near the tray and an optional sound. You can configure multiple POP accounts and have individual sounds for each. PEN allows you to preview all subject lines, as well as the content of the messages and you can choose to delete selected ones without having to download them. The program also supports POP3 via SSL, IMAP, Gmail, AOL, Excite and Netscape as well as other web mail services (Hotmail, MSN, Lycos, Yahoo and Mail.com).
