SnapFiles descripton: track and locate missing computers PC PhoneHome is a computer tracking and theft recovery software that sends a stealth e-mail message containing the current IP address to an address you specify. In the event the computer is stolen, you can report it to the local police and then notify the PC PhoneHome Command and Tracking Center, which will provide full tracking and recovery support. When (if) the stolen computer uses the Internet, it will send a stealth email message to the pre-determined email address containing the current IP address of the machine, which can then be used by authorities to attempt a recovery based on the information associated with the IP address. PC PhoneHome runs hidden from casual inspections, and includes several measures, that help prevent casual tempering or removal attempts. The system only works, if the stolen computer is connected to the Internet. There are no additional or yearly service fees involved. Attention: For security reasons, the software cannot be (properly) uninstalled, unless you contact the software company and they will provide you with a special uninstall program.
