secure password and notes storage Paranotic enables you to store confidential notes, account logins, passwords and other sensitive information in a highly encrypted file that can only be unlocked with a password. Unlike most other password managers, Paranotic allows free-form input which enables you to structure the information any way you want. Even though the concept may seem similar to that of an encrypted text file, the program offers several intuitive features that make management of your information more efficient. You can quickly insert frequently used labels from a menu, optionally mask (*) passwords and credit card numbers, and quickly copy any data with a single click. There is also an option to assign tags to your notes and quickly search for related items by clicking on the tag. Other features include a secure password generator, an integrated calculator to store notes with automatic summary calculation, support for reminder events, and optional online backup of your encrypted notes file. Paranotic is not for everyone, but if you prefer to store your sensitive information in a flexible, yet secure, format, you should give it a try. A portable version is also available.
Trial Limitations: 30 day trial. Online backup disabled.
