Advanced calculator in plain english OpalCalc is a unique calculator that lets you perform simple and advanced calculations in Plain English. It offers a Notepad style interface where you can type your calculation in the left pane and instantly see the results in the right pane. The program automatically returns the result for each line and can calculate the total sum at the end. You can also annotate your calculations (e.g. instead of 4+2 you can type 4 apples + 4 oranges), which makes it much easier to make sense of multi-line calculations. OpalCalc supports a variety mathematical functions and you can even create your own. It supports percentage, square roots as well as date and time calculations (e.g. today + 12 days). You can even use OpalCalc to create simplified spreadsheets with custom variables. Other features include color coding, support for currency conversion and measurement units, customizable interface colors and more.
