Network Time System
synchronize network time
Network Time System is a client/server time system that lets you synchronize your entire network from a central time server that synchronizes with external sources. The time server supports TCP/IP, IPX, and NetBEUI, as well as UDP broadcasting and comes with built-in firewall security to control access to the server. It can check up to three external time sources simultaneously, with support for firewall and proxy connections. Both, the server and clients can run as NT service, making sure that the time is always synchronized, even if users are logged off. The client applications can automatically detect the time server on the network, so they require little or no configuration.
