web page creator Namu6 - Website Editor is a WYSIWYG web page creator, that allows you to create a basic multi-page web site without the need for any HTML coding. It comes with a view template designs, that you can customize to your preference. You can insert images, links, and other basic HTML elements by simply clicking the pointing your mouse or selecting text and pressing the ALT key. The finished web site can be uploaded to your web host, or a Namu6 hosting account (optional). Additional features include several image effects, as well as customizable header graphics and a small clipart library. The program is suitable for complete beginners as it does not require any technical knowledge and produces a nice looking web site. If you have some experience with HTML however, the lack of flexibility and source editing will most likely not appeal to you.Namu6 has been discontinued. The program is still available for download but there won't be any updates or new versions.

You can definitely use this for basic programming, if you are too lazy to start everything from scratch. Once you've made it, you can use a more serious WYSIWYG editor (like Dreamweaver) or other HTML editor. Perfect. showShow review details

My thanks to the 2 people who designed this program, and their company in New Zealand. I would never have the time , patience or expertise to do it in HTML. I looked at Frontpage and went ???? I designed my small business website, 3 pages, with photos, page links, website links, and an email address linked to my domain name. Besides being easy, it was fun. And if you ever want to change anything, as in your business address or phone number on the web, just do the alterations in the original file which is still on your computer, then publish it again, and it overwrites your website; TOO EASY. This is a great web design tool; not so much because of the features it includes, but because of those it leaves out; having defined a theme for your site, it's impossible to diverge from it. Too much functionality in other WYSIWYG web editors is what allows inexperienced users to make awful sites that are a mess of different colours, fonts and layouts; with Namu6, this just isn't possible because the chosen theme is enforced throughout. The upshot is that you would have to try really hard to turn out anything except a clean-looking, highly-readable website. Bravo. showShow review details
