control multiple PCs with one mouse and keyboard Mouse Without Borders enables you to control up to 4 networked computers with a single mouse and keyboard without the need for any KVM hardware. Simply install the program on each computer you want to control, follow the setup instructions and you will be sharing your mouse and keyboard in no time. Mouse Without Borders also lets you drag and drop files between machines (very cool), share the clipboard and retrieve screen captures from the other desktops. To move control from one computer to the next, simply move your mouse beyond the boundaries of the monitor and the program will automatically switch control to the other PC. You can configure up to 4 computer screens side-by-side or in two rows. Other features include support for hotkey switching, screensaver control and remote locking. Compared to Synergy and Input Director, Mouse Without Borders is probably the most user friendly and easiest to use (especially for non-technical users), however Synergy and particularly Input Director offer much better configuration options for power users. While Mouse Without Borders lacks some of these advanced features, it is a lot easier to set up, which probably makes it the best choice for those who have never used mouse/keyboard sharing.

Didn't work on XP 4 stars by brothergabriel Sep 17, 2011 (Read all my 15 reviews)
I tried this program, attempting to connect a Windows 7 computer to an XP SP3 computer. The Win7 could control the mouse perfectly on the XP computer, but the XP computer had issues controlling the mouse on the Win7 computer - the mouse was trapped in the taskbar area. The program installs very quickly, is easy to understand, and has great features. If you are using all Windows 7 computers, this is a wonderful app to add, especially if you are using multiple computers at your workstation or are in a computer lab where you can see your neighbors' desktop. showShow review details

Gives Synergy a run for its money 4 stars by davolente Sep 13, 2011 (Read all my 3 reviews)
I have used Synergy for a very long time over my two machines (one with two monitors) but took a chance and installed MWB and, I have to say, it works better, with a more intuitive interface and the same seamless transition over all three screens. Synergy is a bit of a challenge to set up and doesn't support file drag-and-drop, which I always though Synergy should have. Definitely four and-a-bit stars for this. Looks like Synergy (along with Input Director) has got a battle on its hands against this new contender. showShow review details
