While mainly intended for media files, it can be used for any other file type as well, including .mp3;.wav;.wma;.mpg;.mpeg;.avi;.asf;.mov; .exe;.zip and others. The program comes with a very nice interface and is highly customizable. it ffers special support for network environments, alowing you to automatically scan selected machines, limiting the search to specified shares and other criteria. MP3Finder casn also play any file in your favorite media player and provide search statistics as well as perform text searches in results.
