MoonEdit enables cooperative multi-user text editing over the Internet or LAN. The program is basically a text editor that enables you to host a file for editing, and other users (also using MoonEdit) can connect to the file and edit the file with you. Each user is listed in the status bar and is assigned a distinctive color that highlights the segments that were edited by him. All cursor movements and text changes are simultaneously visible on the screen by all users. MoonEdit allows you to share individual files, or entire directories. Other features include a built-in calculator to solve mathematical functions and even a musical sequencer that can translate and play musical notes.
