Well, I have been running this and using it to cleanse my memory but to be honest, there isn't really any difference. I would suspect if something is going on, be it some rogue program, infection, bad programming, etc... causing memory to be filled up or not empty, this would be useful, although I haven't gotten to test that theory yet. It could also be the fact I have 8 gigs but then again, it's not showing usage at all in the usage history or when I am running anything like Blender 3d or video editing which takes up a decent amount of memory. I am also running as Admin, so no issue there. I opened Inkscape, Gimp, Blender, VirtualMachine running XP, Task Manager, Notepad, and many others. Task manager clearly showed 44 memory usage, Memory Washer, nothing. It showed CPU usage fine though. I did set the refresh intervals to 0.2 since 0.5 was doing nothing but it didn't make a difference, there was still a blank monitor, no usage showing. I can understand it won't show over 4 gigs usage since Windows won't actually use over 4 until it has to but to show no usage at all has me boggled. Really, I don't believe this is actually doing anything memory wise. May try it on an older machine to see what happens. showShow review details
