dual-pane file manager Master Commander is a dual-pane file manager that offers all the standard features of Windows Explorer, along with a variety of extras that can make file management easier. Each panel supports tabs, allowing you to keep multiple folders open at the same time and switch between them as needed. The files can be displayed in two independent panels as a list or a tree (as well as any combination of them). Other features include integrated support for archive files (ZIP, TAR, GZIP, TGZ, BZIP2, RAR), folder synchronization, a text editor with syntax highlighting, file encryption/decryption, file renaming, checksum verification, a customizable interface, and more.
