convert DVDs to MKV files MakeMKV enables you to convert DVD movies into MKV (a.k.a. Matroska) files. The program preserves all video and audio tracks (including HD audio), as well as chapter information, meta data. MakeMKV is easy to use, it automatically detects your DVD and all you have to do is click a button to start the copy process. MakeMKV can also use Video_TS folders or ISO files as input source. The program also includes a streaming server that enables you to stream a DVD to your Xbox or other compatible devices. Easy to try and remove. Pros
1-Good quality conversion,
2-Starts with a long completion time but finishes much quicker,
3-Very few clicks and you are done
and Cons 1-Expires in 60 days,
2-Does not retain DVD menus,
3-Does not retain Extras on the DVD,
4-Could not find options to include items 2 & 3. showShow review details

Although not mentioned in the description, this program allow you to copy DVDs, even if they are protected and cannot be copied with a normal disc copy program. The interface reminds me a little of the old DVDDecryptor. showShow review details
