design your own Lego models LEGO Digital Designer is a 3D modeling tool that enables you to design and render your own Lego creations. You can get started with a collection of sample models that can be customized and extended, or you can start your creation from scratch using a complete assortment of Lego bricks and your imagination. Simply drag and drop bricks into place and use the provide tool options to build your model. In addition to a 3D render of your design, LEGO Digital Designer can generate the complete set of step-by-step building instructions for your designs in print or HTML format. You can optionally buy the bricks from the LEGO Store and upload your design to the LEGO Factory Gallery. A purchase is not required to use the software, you may use it to work with your existing Lego collection or just for fun.

Well this was definitely fun but I don't think my son liked the way the legos were handled to snap on or move around. I may have "ahem" played this a bit, you know, just to test it :) My favorite part, I didn't have any legos to step on after he was done. I think I still have a few embedded in the bottom of my foot from past lego buildings. It's really neat to use and you can use pre-made models or free build but I don't think it will keep childrens' interest for long. Two of my kids said they still liked real legos much better. Either way, it's still a nice program and I'll keep it for um... them, yes. showShow review details

Never did I expect SnapFiles to have in their database a fun kids application. It's a pretty fun building tool. I am a grown man living my childhood through this application. It's more of an interesting application for adults but I recommend it for kids. showShow review details
