measure file transfer and network speeds LAN Speed Test is an easy to use tool to to measure your file transfer and network speeds. You can configure the number of packets to send across your network as well as the size of the test packet (up to 9GB). Instead of using a file from your hard drive, the program creates a file in memory, thereby eliminating the effects of Windows file caching or hard drive speeds. LAN Speed Test also includes a simple network scanner that lists all the devices on your LAN along with their MAC address and other details. Additional features include logging, export to CSV file and an optional command-line mode. Although it comes with an installer, the program is completely self-contained and portable.
