view IP locations on a map IP Locator enables you to view the geographical location of an IP address on a Google maps display. Just enter the IP address and the program will show the location with the built-in Google Maps viewer, including options to zoom and switch to satellite or hybrid mode. In addition to the geographical location, the program also retrieves the WHOIS information for the IP address. IP Locator uses the free Maxmind GeoCity Lite database (~20mb) to translate IP address information, which will be downloaded when you use the software for the first time.
