download manager Internet Download Accelerator is a HTTP/FTP download manager that uses multi-section downloads to provide the best possible performance for all connection types. It allows you to create your won categories and automatically sort your downloads based on the file extensions. The program supports download resuming, scheduled downloads, search for file mirrors, as well as automated virus scanning (using your existing AV software). Internet Download Accelerator also integrates a service that will report user downloads to an online database, allowing you to see what other files are popular among IDA users (this feature can be turned off). Other features include browser integration, floating drop target and support for video downloads from popular video sharing services like YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe and others.

I find everything bout this program as being excellent. Though the UI is fair, and kinda prehistoric. However upon registering this program, I have yet to hear from the programmers, bout my registeration. I figured I would e-mail them, in hopes to get them to send me my reg code. That to has failed. If they had better support, they would have gotten a 4 star, or even possibilly a 5 star. How ever I see no improvements in downloads. I still average 30 kbps per download. So folks, if your looking for a downloader, look elsewhere, these people are not very reliable. I may never get my reg code. showShow review details
