Honestech Video Editor is designed for beginner to intermediate level users, and provides easy, visual editing of your movies. The interface provides a preview of the currently loaded video and lets you mark the section to cut, and adds them to a timeline. You can continue to cut scenes from the same movie or load additional clips. When you are done, you can preview the cut sections, optionally add effects (coloring, filtering and transitions) and then merge them into a new movie. The built-in encoding/decoding engine and smart merging process allow you to mix AVI files with MPEG for example and then save the new video as AVI, DV-AVI, MPEG-1, VCD, MPEG-2, SVCD, DVD or WMV. The program is easy to use, even for novice users, and offers professional results.
