create Hotkey shortcuts HotKeyz is an easy to use shortcut utility that enables you to create keyboard hotkeys to launch programs, maximize/minimize windows, mute or adjust your speaker volume, reboot your PC, send keystrokes, change your desktop wallpaper, and much more. You can create global hotkeys or limit them to certain windows, allowing you to use the same hotkey for different actions, depending on what you are currently working on. HotKeyz also includes several unique commands that allow you to change case, auto-correct words and control WinAmp functions. The program works with most keys, including special keys such as Home, Pause, PageUp and others.

Hotkeyz is a very capable utility that, while complex in its functionality, is understandable without having to read an extensive help file. It has the nice feature of indicating when the last time a hotkey was used allowing you to determine what hotkeys are needed. The interface is intelligently designed and is comprehensive in its features. Its only weakness is scheduling commands according to time. showShow review details

HotKeyz is freeware, not shareware. Although I've moved on to AutoHotkey which does far more, HotKeyz is perhaps the best of the rest of the targeted hotkey apps. Good interface design, lots of flexibility included and options available to make sure your keys are accurate and unconflicted. It even does hotstrings and lets you print out a list of your hotkeys for reference. Brilliant! showShow review details
