log your keystrokes Home Key Logger is a simple and easy to use keylogger, that will automatically capture all keystrokes, including typed passwords, email etc. The log can be reviewed and displays the typed text, as well as the name of the Window where it was typed and the date/time. The program runs in the system tray and can optionally be started automatically with Windows and also (temporarily) hidden from the tray. Log file location cannot be configured or changed. Basic but functional and easy to use.

I tried the family version as suggested at the author's web site. It was a major disappointement because the free version won't hide the system tray icon at boot up. You can put put it in stealth mode during your current session but that doesn't permanently hide the system tray icon. So, it's only good if someone uses your computer before you reboot or shut down. As soon as the computer reboots or restarts, the icon appears along with a gigantic balloon notice telling you about itself. What good is that? The freeware version is only useful, I guess, if you want to log your own keystrokes. What good would that be? I don't know. One other problem, you can easily find the program running in task manager even when the program is in stealth mode though most people wouldn't know what to look for, I guess. showShow review details

IT does a fairly nice job, basic, what I need. I have used it on and off, mainly when I need to. It's light, works well. It's not fancy but haven't had any issues with it. showShow review details
