You can choose to be notified via animated tray icon or a sound whenever a popup window is closed, maintain a WhiteList of allowed sites, and also disable popup blocking from the tray, if needed. The program is very simple, without additional bells and whistles, however it performed well and closed just about all common popup windows during our test (www.popuptest.com). If you want no-fuss and fully automatic popup blocking, give it a try. This version is a Lite, because the author also offers a Pro version which offers additional features, besides the popup blocking.
