Great portable hddssd tool 5 stars by reboots695 May 27, 2016 (Read all my 7 reviews)
Like the speed. Like the interface. Sure other tools do this too, but the extra touches are nice on this one. Go ahead, give it a try. Would like to see fan control and identification built into this in future revisions. show Review details
Quick portable drive health checkup 4 stars by busybusy Jan 21, 2016 (Read all my 156 reviews)
HDDExpert is a small portable tool to get a quick picture of the hard drives health. The interface is simple and displays all the needed information to determine the current state of a hard drive. It also displays the S.M.A.R.T information but to most it is meaningless numbers but the pop-up text information does help. It would be nice if it had Red-Yellow-Green on each of those S.M.A.R.T elements to get a visual on if a one or more items are getting close to their threshold. This would add addition information to help users out. I just added this to my Portable Apps list. Two-Thumbs Up! Get it, use it, rate it! show Review details
Good but not necessary ... 3 stars by melen001 Dec 11, 2014 (Read all my 20 reviews)
HDDExpert is a good tool and uses S.M.A.R.T. to analyze your hard drive. I personally use the feature provided by Piriform's Defraggler and have same results. I find no need in using this software but still it's a good tool if you want to check your hard drive. show Review details
