In addition to blocking hardware access, the program also allows you to block access to specific websites (via HOSTS file entries) and prevent access to selected programs. The GiliSoft USB Lock interface is password protected to prevent other users from changing your settings. Once configured, the program does not need to be running unless you want to make changes to the configuration.
