desktop interface for Google Docs gExplore offers a simple interface to access and manage your Google Docs from your Windows desktop. You can upload or download files or folders, create document collections, share files via email and search documents by title or content. The program also comes with an option to encrypt a document before uploading it, which can be handy if you are concerned about the content of sensitive files. Other features include an option to keep file notes, audit file permissions and converting Google Docs to other formats. Unlike similar apps, gExplore can only upload a single file (or an entire folder) at a time, which we consider a major drawback.
