simple audio recorder Fox Magic Audio Recorder can record sound from your microphone, sound card or audio input and save the recording as MP3 or WAV file. Your recordings are automatically saved with sequential numbers to a folder of your choice, and you can listen to them with the built-in player. The program also includes a simple timer option that you can use to schedule a recording for a specific date and time. Unfortunately, it lacks a recording level indicator, which can make it difficult to assess volume levels and verify that the recording is in progress. Fox Magic Audio Recorder makes use of the LAME engien and offers customizable MP3 quality settings. Copyright Snapfiles.com

Lack of level indicator is a major drawback 2 stars by ianmacm Mar 04, 2013 (Read all my 174 reviews)
Without any indicator for the audio level, there is no choice but to use trial and error and hope for the best during recordings. This is a major and arguably fatal flaw in Fox Magic Audio Recorder. The program cannot edit files once recorded, and it lacks a good overall feature set. show Review details
