temporarily block distracting websites FocalFilter is a simple tool that enables you to temporarily block websites that could distract you from your work. You can configure one or more websites to block by adding them to the block list and also set a time period (up to 12 hours) for the blocking. While your sites are blocked, you will be unable to access them unless you reboot your computer. FocalFilter works by modifying the Windows HOSTS files, which is used by all Internet enabled application, so it will work with any browser.
