Ok, it's not the fanciest but does cut out the middle man by not having to download the video, it will simply create an .mp3 out of the video, decently fast, works well. showShow review details

Until I discovered this beauty, I used YouTubeDownloaderHD to download videos and them converted them to MP3s with XMedia Recode - two separate processes. This puppy does it all at one time. Highlight and 'copy' the title of the video you wish to convert and upon opening Eusing Free YouTube to MP3 Converter, it's already there just waiting for you to click 'Start.' It will also allow you to convert the downloaded FLV file to WMV, if you wish, along with the ability to choose several different MP3 sound qualities. I especially like the fact that this gem is completely portable. All settings are written to an INI file in the app folder, leaving the registry clean, as well as not writing to the User folder.
