East-Tec DisposeSecure is a secure disk wiping tool that removes all traces from your hard drive, so that it can be safely discarded (or donated) without the risk of any sensitive information being disclosed by data recovery methods. It overwrites and destroys every sector and bit of information according to U.S. Department of Defense standards or custom user security levels. The program can create a bootable floppy disk, CD or DVD that you insert before you boot your computer and start the disk wiping process. The bootable version of East-Tec DisposeSecure works with any operating system.
