You can create DVD Video discs by selecting one or more video files to include and the program will automatically convert them to the proper format and create a DVD that can be player on most standard DVD players. You can also create data discs to store or backup your files and make copies of existing DVD or CD discs. Other features include support for multi-session recording, ISO image recording and burning, PAL/NTSC options, video quality adjustments, data verification and more. DVD Author Plus supports most common video formats as well as Dual-Layer discs.

My original freeware program was having problems on my system, perhaps because of a Windows upgrade so I tried a number of different programs. They didn't work but this did straight away. Only tried the video DVD creation but worked fine. showShow review details

If you want something that is simply easy to drop your video files onto, burn them to DVD and have them playable in your player, this is it. I tried a mix of .avi and .mpeg tutorial video files and of course .avi's can get quite large. It took about 20 min to convert the .avi and .mpeg files, put them together into a playable DVD ntsc format. Not bad at all. And let me mention, they took up the whole DVD so it wasn't a few small files here. The DVD works great, no problem. If you're looking for something to edit, add menus and such, no, this won't do that but if you simply want to throw some video files onto a DVD, or edited authored files, this will work wonders. showShow review details
