DShutdown
shutdown network machines
DShutdown is a small standalone program that can be used to perform shutdown operations on one or more network machines, including reboot, shutdown, log-off and more. The program works as a server/client package and requires to run the include RDShutdown.exe on the remote machine(s). If you have a valid admin login for the machine(s), you can also use the serverless mode which does not require any remote client to run. The program supports scheduled shutdowns, Wake on LAN, inactivity monitoring (local), shutdown cancel if a user is logged on, as well as other options. DShutdown offers is surprisingly well featured, especially for such a small program, however the documentation is in machine-translated English and difficult to read. If you feel confident with server/client applications, give it a a try.
Pros: Can be installed as service; supports WOL; scheduled schutdowns; flexible options
Cons: Lacks proper documentation; remote port (4444) cannot be changed
