analyze drives, folders and files DriveSight is a tool for analyzing drives, folders and files which may be uploaded into, or indexed by, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. It categorizes each file by size, type, age, and determines whether or not it is indexable or blocked by SharePoint. DriveSight displays the results in real-time during the scan, and generates a comprehensive printable (.doc) report with tables and charts. The program is primarily target at SharePoint Server users but can also be used to simply report on the content of a drive, allowing you to get an overview of file types, storage utilization, file ages and other details.

This isn't like a disk analyzer type really but it does show percentages of files taking up room, drive sizes, file sizes, types, size of that type, and many others. It is very fast considering it took my 600 gig about 30 seconds for a report, although it depends on PC speed too. It will save reports as rtf documents, which, you don't even need word if you get the word viewer or view in others. There is a great customization option as to what files you want to analyze or not. If they would build on this report tool, it would be even better and likely one of the best for this sort of disk report. showShow review details
