SnapFiles descripton: find duplicate images and media d`peg! allows you to find duplicate files, including images, music, documents and more. It offers the standard compare options (size,checksum, name) as well as several advanced options that enable you to use intelligent modes for patterns, color content and other similarities. This allows you to locate duplicate images, even if one of them has been resized, rotated and edited with a text overlay or logo. The options for the scan are customizable and support a primary, as well as secondary criteria. The program supports local drives and folders, as well as removable media. It uses a database caching method that allows you to compare files on removable media (e.g CD or DVD), even if the media is not inserted. The database supports MSDE and MS SQL Server (if available). For finding of duplicate MP3 files, you also have additional criteria available to match files by artist, album and other meta data as well as. Additional features include a step-by-step interface, side-by-side comparison, filter options and more.
