While a very nice replacement for notepad, it seems to have enough to entice you but leaves out enough to not make this your default text editor. Skins are great, etc... but functionality is more useful. I really wish to see some things added and this would be a great all around text editor. It is sitting in a gray area and needs to break free. It has a lot of potential and hope to see it become better. showShow review details

The most striking feature of DocPad is its range of different colored interfaces. Surprisingly though (unless I missed it) it is not possible to change the font used for the text, only its size. There are some extra features including a built-in calculator, but another feature lacking here is the ability to open different tabs and switch between them. showShow review details
