DeskNow WebMessenger is a secure, closed-circuit instant messaging server for business communication. It offers strong 128-bit SSL encryption for maximum security and works transparently across any firewall, NAT or proxy. The server provides a web based Instant Messenger client that is activated in the user`s (java enabled) browser by visiting a specified web page, so it does not require any deployment or installation on client machines. In addition, it works with any Jabber client, making it compatible with many cross-platform chat clients. DeskNow WebMessenger offers a web based administration interface that allow to add users, send broadcast messages and create virtual domains. The IM Client supports smilies, user status, private chat rooms and more. The program comes with an easy to use setup wizard that will get the server running within a few minutes.
